El año 2010 promete ser un año en que tendramos cada vez más la oportunidad de definirnos como compañia de teatro y como organización sociocultural. Esperamos que este año nos preste el tiempo, el espacio y una actitud de determinación ambisiosa como para poder lograr nuestros objetivos que tenemos claramente definidos.
Este año tenemos dos proyectos con 'P' mayúscula. En primer lugar damos continuación al Proyecto Libertad en la cárcel de Matagalpa, celebrando la primera etápa con la producción de una obra de teatro posthumano ASCO basado en el libro 'Metamorfósis' de de Franz Kafka - poniendo enfasis en el aspecto físico y estético del actuar y la escena.
En segundo lugar empezaremos en lleno con el montaje y la producción de la obra 'La Juguetería' basada ligéramente en el clásico 'Antigona' de Sófocles, contextualizada a la historia contemporanea nicaragüense y realizada con el grupo recien fundado de Dinosaurios Teatro. Se dará inicio a los talleres el 20 de enero del 2010 en Matagalpa.
Ambas obras serán dirigidas por el teatrista Mick Sarria, que desarolla en estas producciones su perspectiva teórica y estética del teatro posthumano. Durante las producciones se impartirán a la vez talleres de respectivamente danza y sciencias sociales por otros jóvenes afiliados a nuestra organización.
Esperamos que el 2010 sea para todos un año fructífero lleno de aprendizaje y entusiasmo profesional!

2010 Promises to be a year in which we will have more and more opportunities to define ourselves as a theater company and as a sociocultural organization. We hope that this year will give us the time, space, and ambitiously determined attitude to be able to meet our clearly defined goals.
We have two projects (with capital 'P's) running this year. In the first place, the continuation of Proyecto Libertad in the Matagalpan penitentiary, celebrating the first phase with a work of posthuman theatre 'Disgust' based on the book The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka - emphasizing in this play the physical and aesthetic aspect of acting and the scene.
In the second place we'll start with the production of the play 'The Toy Store' loosely based on the classic 'Antigone' by ancient Greek Sofocles, contextualized to Nicaraguan recent history and realized with the newly found group Dinosaurios Theatre. The workshops will start January 20th 2010 in Matagalpa.
Both plays will be directed by theatermaker Mick Sarria, who develops in these productions his theoretical and aesthetic perspective of Posthuman Theatre. Dance and social science workshops will also be given during the respective plays by other young people affiliated with our organization.
We hope that 2010 will be a fruitful year full of learning and professional enthusiasm for everybody!
